Thanks for joining me this afternoon; make sure you stick around for all the latest from the Crucible...
13-7
...a fine finish from Maguire...no nerves at all as he sends home the colours to cross the line...a great pink seals it...good fight from Robertson, but the Scot is into the last eight...
7-12
...Maguire fires a long red to prompt a good break...it looks to be coming to an end with the final two reds...but he fires home a fine plant to continue...
7-12
Robertson is 47-7 up in the 20th frame as a safety battle resumes...
7-12
Robertson is on a break of 47...a difficult bit of bridging on a red into the middle brings about a tough blue and resulting safety...good fight from the Aussie...
7-12
Maguire makes an even 100 - it could have been 142 - before leaving a pink in the jaw...he moves to within a frame of the match...Robertson looks very contemplative...
7-11
Maguire is on a 39 break as he looks to stop the rot and move to within a frame of the match...a few tricky reds remain though...they are all on the left-side of the table...
7-11
Robertson continues his fightback over on table one...from 8-0 down, he is now just four frames behind the Scot...

Hi there; welcome to our scores and commentary as Maguire tries to finish off his match against the Melbourne Machine...
5-11
Robertson wins the final frame of the session to close the gap further to six, via (finally) some extravagant potting and one blue in particular which takes the crowd's breath away. He screwed the cue back across the table with incredible side, a shot I would swear is against the laws of physics had I not seen it with my own green eyes. Although Maguire should still go through to the quarter-finals, he looks dejected slumped in his chair.
4-11
A 98 clearance from Robertson in the penultimate frame of the day leaves him 'only' seven adrift - but at least he will now take the match into a third session.
3-11
Both players miss chances, Maguire in particular guilty with a red. Australian Robertson closes it out to win his third frame. Who knows: two more and the match outcome will not be as clear-cut as it first seemed...
2-11
Maguire gets to 40 before missing and allowing his rival a chance. However Robertson cannot take it and Maguire cleans up on his next visit.
2-10
Maguire takes an eight-frame lead into the interval after playing safely and sensibly.
2-9
Another frame on the board for Robertson, who had already secured it when he doubles off two cushions to sink a yellow along the top edge. Is the comeback on?
1-9
Robertson comes good! The black springs out of the jaws on 93 to deny him a century but he won't care about that - that first score will be a tonic.
0-9
The first battle on the baize goes all the way to the blue, with only five points separating the players. Maguire digs the cue ball out of the top-left pocket as he hopes for a lucky fall of the balls and is rewarded. Robertson has played this frame well and must be gutted when, following more awkward safeties, he goes nine frames down.
0-8
A drawn-out first frame of the evening as the players play safe. With one red left at the bottom of the table the score stands at 31 apiece, Maguire snookering Robertson on the colours in the baulk.
-
Welcome to the second session of this last-16 clash between Maguire and Robertson. Maguire swept aside his rival 8-0 in the opening session.
0-8
MAGUIRE seals the frame. What a session!
0-7
A 79 break from MAGUIRE and this is a real rout. The points tally in this session is 602-115 in the Scot's favour.
0-6
Sensational stuff from MAGUIRE. Shot of the tournament as he plays a cannon off a red on the bottom cushion, sending that ball to baulk whilst potting the red in the corner which gives him perfect position on the black. The start of a 110 break.
0-5
This is getting ugly for Robertson as MAGUIRE follows a break of 63 with a run of 23 to take yet another frame.
0-4
One rash shot from Robertson and MAGUIRE takes full toll with a superb 131 clearance. 4-0 at the mid-session interval.
0-3
The Victorian responds with 24 but a run of 23 from MAGUIRE means it's 3-0.
0-2
A run of 54 sees MAGUIRE in control of frame three.
0-2
The Melbourne potter hits back with 21 but after a prolonged spell of safety before the colours, MAGUIRE wraps up the frame 67-45.
0-1
Robertson leads 37-0 in the second frame but MAGUIRE is amongst the balls and after a lengthy safety exchange before the colours, takes it 67-45.
0-1
Anthony Hamilton tipped Stephen MAGUIRE to lift his first World Championship and the in-form Scot takes the opening frame against Neil Robertson after a break of 56.
