- Hi there; welcome to our coverage of the third and final session of this classic - Williams v O'Sullivan...
9-7 O'Sullivan has two good opportunities to take control of the 16th frame but cannot. He misses a black and Williams steadily moves up to a break of 73 to reduce the arrears to what they were at the beginning of the session - two frames. It has been an interesting and even evening, with both players taking the match by the scruff of the neck at different times.
9-6 O'Sullivan presents Mark with a chance after going for a difficult plant. The subsequent run reaches 81 on the colours - three between them now, with only one frame to play in this second session. A very important one it is too.
9-5 Williams fouls by going in-off and O'Sullivan is not one to pass up an open table. He compiles 78 to add to his collection and edge closer to victory.
8-5 Ronnie goes three up in this best-of-25 match, ending 65-32 to the good in a scrappy exchange.
7-5 O'Sullivan in his element as he disposes of balls right, left and centre after they were split early on. He ends with a blue that wobbles out of the pocket, but has 102 compiled behind him in the break. Now for the interval.
6-5 Williams is not having any of it and moves back within a frame of his temperamental opponent, a run of 76 doing the damage.
6-4 O'Sullivan restores the two-frame advantage with a stop-start exchange, eventually holding his nerve to clear the colours for a narrow win.
5-4 A strong start from Williams, who takes the first frame this evening with some clinical potting for a 64 break.

5-3 WILLIAMS wraps up the the frame with a tidy break, and pulls back to 5-3.
5-2 WILLIAMS with a good response. He passes a half-century and is still going strong.
5-2 O'SULLIVAN clears up! Complete with two cheeky left-handed shot, one of which was a beauty into the middle that most people could try and miss a dozen times with their better hand.
4-2 WILLIAMS cruises onto 40, but then misses a straightforward red into the middle...that could prove costly. O'SULLIVAN misses, then WILLIAMS misses again, this time leaving the balls very appealingly open.
4-2 O'SULLIVAN has a chance, but he gets a nasty kick and WILLIAMS is at the table, break of 12 so far.
4-2 RUTHLESS STUFF FROM O'SULLIVAN - he produces a superb clearance of 81 to take the frame and he is looking at his best now.
3-2 WILLIAMS then misses a cut into the middle pocket. He leads 44-0 but O'SULLIVAN has a chance to build a break here.
3-2 Admirable stuff by O'Sullivan but he left a red on and WILLIAMS is building another break.
3-2 WILLIAMS is unlucky to lose position after going into the reds after potting a brown. His break ends on 29 and he just tips into the reds. There was a chance of a stalemate but O'Sullivan has tried to force the issue by playing the cue ball to one of the side cushions.
3-2 WILLIAMS with a chance to hit back - he is in for a break early here.
3-2 O'SULLIVAN does take full advantage with a superb clearance of 140. Two yellows and one blue, the rest was reds and blacks before the colours. The crowd loved it - the Rocket has come alive.
2-2 Back underway now after the mid-session interval and a poor early safety from WILLIAMS could let in O'Sullivan.
2-2 And WILLIAMS gets back in for the points he needs. Mistakes by both players so far but they are level at the mid-session interval.
2-1 Break of 55 from WILLIAMS puts him 68-0 up in the frame and O'Sullivan needs snookers.
2-1 WILLIAMS has an early 13-0 lead in this frame but we are now in a safety exchange.
2-1 O'SULLIVAN finally takes the frame by getting the pink by playing it off the bottom cushion into one of the top pockets. He leads 2-1.
1-1 O'SULLIVAN pots to the green and is now 30 in front with 25 remaining.
1-1 WILLIAMS sees the cue ball drop while trying to play safe and Ronnie should be able to take the frame from here.
1-1 O'SULLIVAN lead 40-36 but loses position with three reds left as he fails to get the cannon he wants. Frame up for grabs now.
1-1 WILLIAMS builds to 36 but then has a MASSIVE kick on a black and misses the pot.
1-1 O'SULLIVAN gets in early but then misses a red by a LONG way on 24 and Williams will look to build.
1-1 WILLIAMS has to survive a number if snookers on the final red and O'Sullivan finally decides to let him off the hook by conceding the frame.
1-0 O'SULLIVAN gets one of the snookers on the final red but Williams at least avoids leaving a free ball so Ronnie needs one more.
1-0 WILLIAMS goes 71-4 up thanks to a break of 69 but O'Sullivan will carry on. He is 67 down with 59 on the table but there is a red in behind the black which should allow him to snooker Williams.
1-0 Williams snookers O'Sullivan again and AGAIN O'Sullivan can't hit the red. Another free ball for Williams. He pots all the way to the blue but then gets a kick on the blue to leave himself with a tough pink while trailing 68-64. He stretches to get the pink but again he is left with a real tricky black. He tries to cut it into the middle pocket BUT HE MISSES IT and O'SULLIVAN cuts it home to take the frame. What a dramatic start to this match.
0-0 WILLIAMS gets the snooker and a free ball too - he has a chance to win the frame now but he has lost position on the final red.
0-0 A break of 61 from O'SULLIVAN puts him 68-21 in front and in charge. He missed the long red though - and Williams just needs one snooker so he will stick around.
0-0 Both players have had half chances to build breaks but nothing major yet. Williams leads 21-7.
