13-9
Some technical difficulties there...apologies. All I can say is you missed some wonderful flowing comments. KING was left requiring snookers in the 20th frame and potted blue by mistake - leading to chuckles from EBDON as he realised the frame was his. KING would not go quietly, however, and fought back to 12-9, before EBDON ultimately proved the more clinical and finished the match 13-9. For a more in-depth report, please refer to the snooker match. Thank you for joining me, we'll be back tomorrow!
11-8
Back into it, and KING trails 53-14, but he's at the table and the frame is in the balance.
11-8
121 break. That's more like it. He'll be pumped up now. The players retreat for the mid-session interval.
11-7
KING is going to pull another one back here. A break of 77 so far, and the balls are starting to fly in. Could we yet have a grandstand finish here?
11-7
He needed that one badly, and KING has it. The deficit is now back to four.
11-6
KING is in the balls, and well ahead, but there are four tricky reds to negotiate, EBDON currently needs one snooker.
11-6
There it is. A break of 76 takes him five ahead. Two more needed.
10-6
EBDON has a half-century and the quarter-finals are starting to loom large.
10-6
EBDON goes four ahead. Strange frame that, both players had chances but EBDON ultimately emerged the more clinical.
9-6
EBDON recovers and goes ahead 48-15.
9-6
And AGAIN. At the fourth attempt...YUREKA!!! KING snaps up the chance to get in the balls.
9-6
EBDON fouls. And again.
9-6
A few edgy missed pots to begin proceedings, perhaps both players are still digesting the crucible buffet. Lovely snooker from KING with rest, to leave EBDON...well, snookered good and proper.
9-6
Good evening and welcome back. The evening session is about to start and the Crucible is buzzing. This match is wonderfully poised. We'll be following the action until close, fuelled by strong coffee and a love of the game.

Thanks for joining me this morning; make sure you stick with us for the remainder of the day...
9-6
King takes the final frame of the session 77-40 to make sure he finishes the day with a slight smile on his face...the players go off a frame earlier than scheduled to allow the afternoon session to start on time...another long session involving Ebdon...not a great surprise...
9-5
...he can't get the snooker...Ebdon knocks in the final red, followed by yellow and green, and his four-frame advantage is restored...
8-5
King comes to the table 68-14 down in the 14th frame...he makes just 16, but then plays a fine safety on the final red...he's still 38 points behind with just 33 on, though...
8-5
...a long blue from King seals it...the lead is cut to three frames...three frames left this morning...
8-4
Ebdon is 21 points down on the final three colours...he needs a snooker, but plays on gamely...King needs this frame...
8-4
A typical Ebdon frame...a bunch of reds become clustered safe on the top cushion...cue long bout of safety...in which Ebdon edges gradually in front...King needs three snookers....it's a forlorn hope...Ebdon takes a four-frame lead into the mid-session interval...
7-4
Ebdon moves three frames clear once more with a break of 49, made at his third attempt...King is just offering too many chances to the former champion...
6-4
King gets a frame back as Ebdon can't recover from an early contribution from the Romford left-hander...
6-3
Ebdon grinds out the opener in the second session to move three frames clear of King...first to 13 remember, so King has plenty time to get himself back into this match...
5-3
The introductions are complete and the breaks have been made...
-
Hello; welcome to the second session of this second-round match; Ebdon won the final three frames last night to take a 5-3 lead...can he push on this morning?
-
Thanks for joining me this afternoon; make sure you stick around for all the latest news from the Crucible...
5-3
...Ebdon takes the second chance with both hands with a more relaxed knock of 85 to ensure he takes a two-frame lead into the second session...
4-3
Ebdon makes 34 before over-cutting a red back into the corner...King steps up, but immediately misses and allows Ebdon a second chance...
4-3
...the final frame of the session is underway...
4-3
After what feels like an eternity, Ebdon does enough to take the frame after moving well ahead with the yellow and green...
3-3
This is a torturously long frame of snooker...Ebdon has the slight edge as they come down to the final red...King attempts a ridiculous escape from a snooker, and the balls take five full minutes to be replaced...
3-3
The break ends at 79 on one of the difficult last three reds, but Ebdon looks pleased enough with his work in levelling up at 3-3
3-2
Ebdon is in the midst of a typically-careful and determined 33 break...
3-2
These are eight-frame sessions, remember...two sessions of eight, followed by one of nine in these best-of-23 second-round matches...
3-2
King makes a well-worked break of 52 to take the first frame back after the mid-session interval...
2-2
The players are back after their mid-session interval; will either player be able to pull clear over the next four frames?
2-2
Another long, drawn out frame...and Ebdon nicks it in the end, to ensure they go into their mid-session interval level at 2-2...
2-1
King does superbly to come from 23 points behind with just the colours remaining...great steal from the "Pride of Essex..."
1-1
Ebdon makes 52 before opting to play safe on the yellow...not quite enough to clinch the frame, though...
1-1
...King makes 42 to get back into the frame...but his loose shot on the yellow hands Ebdon the chance to seal it...which he does
1-0
Ebdon makes 59 before running slightly out of position and missing a longish red...King comes to the table with plenty points remaining...
1-0
King starts in some style...an 81 break takes him comfortably to the opener...
0-0
The players are out having been introduced to the crowd...and the action is underway...
