- 10-3 And that's it! MAGUIRE is through. Credit must go to HAMILTON, who showed character to pull two frames back, but ultimately the match was over after the first session. Thanks for joining me. Why not head over to the other table, where Ryan DAY is getting THUMPED by John HIGGINS.
- 9-3 HAMILTON needs snookers, and he gets two in a row, but MAGUIRE escapes.
- 9-3 MAGUIRE needs the green to wrap up the match, and he misses. Is there hope yet for HAMILTON?
- 9-3 Oh dear. HAMILTON looked set to win the frame, but he brushed the brown with his waistcoat. Schoolboy error, and it could cost him the match.
- 9-3 Cheeky shot from HAMILTON, who pots a long red via the cushion - American pool style. If you're gonna go down, go down in a blaze of glory...at least that's what Jon Bon Jovi would say, if he played snooker, which he very well might.
- 9-3 NOOOOOOOO!!!!! He misses the final red. It was a very tricky shot, with MAGUIRE needing to bang it into the top right and send the cue ball on a merry dance back down to the black. He's angry with himself.
- 8-3 Keep it very very quiet, but MAGUIRE IS ON FOR MAXIMUM!!!!! There are four reds left...
- 8-3 MAGUIRE is finding his form again now. He's on 64 and the frame is his to lose.

- 6-0 Maguire gets the better of a safety exchange late in the sixth frame, going on to take brown, blue and pink to snatch another frame...he is dominating every aspect of this match...
- 5-0 The break stops at 82, but it's more than enough to see Maguire to a fifth successive frame...
- 4-0 Maguire is in the midst of another impressive break in the first frame back after the interval...he's up to 57...
- 4-0 ...Maguire wins a long fourth frame to take a 4-0 lead into the mid-session interval...Hamilton has begun to get in the game as it has progressed, but Maguire looks in good touch.
- 3-0 ...and Maguire emerges victorious from the safety with a long blue, with immense screw-back to the pink, to seal it...and a 3-0 lead...
- 2-0 Maguire closes the gap as he earns a good snooker on the final three colours...just five points in it as a bout of safety begins...
- 2-0 Hamilton makes his first meaningful contribution of the match, 35, before he misses a red into the corner to bring Maguire to the table with seven reds remaining...
- 2-0 Faboulous clearance of 125 from Maguire sees him race to the second frame...he really is "on-fire..."
- 1-0 Maguire makes a good opening 43 before missing a red made difficult by a tough bridge...but he gets an immediate second chance, and clinches the frame with another 42.
