  • 10-4   And ROBERTSON HAS THE WIN! A break of 84 in the final frame sees him win - he will play either Anthony Hamilton or Stephen Maguire in the second round. Thank oyu for joining us.
  • 9-4   ROBERTSON on a break here early - a chance to wrap up the match here.
  • 9-4   And we are back underway...
  • 9-4   No miracle in this frame for Bond. ROBERTSON gets the points he needs and goes into the mid-session interval needing just one more frame.
  • 8-4   ROBERTSON again in control after a break of 57 but we all know what happend in the last frame !!
  • 8-4   BOND TAKES THE FRAME 61-57 !! Another mistake on the brown from ROBERTSON and that is a real steal of a frame, Robertson had a number of chances to win it but Bond is clawing his way back into this match.
  • 8-3   Poor safety by BOND gives ROBERTSON's a great chance but he misses the brown with the rest. Second time he has missed a frame ball in this frame.
  • 8-3   Superb break of 34 from BOND - not a massive score on paper but there were a number of excellent shots there. He eventually has to play safe on the brown after losing position. 57-39 is the frame score. ROBERTSON still needs one ball.
  • 8-3   A break of 56 from ROBERTSON before he misses a red. The frame is not over yet but the Aussie is in control.
  • 8-3   ROBERTSON gets in again and this time he clears up - a break of 63 wins him the frame and he moves just two away.
  • 7-3   A break of 38 puts ROBERTSON in control of the frame. He leads 51-7 with 67 left on the table.
  • 7-3   BOND is so unlucky - he gets a great long plant only to then see the cue ball drop - sums up his luck in this match so far! Neither player really has their potting working for them so far this morning although Robertson has just got back in for another chance.
  • 7-3   Cagey start to this frame - Robertson seems to be consciously playing a more conservative game to yesterday.
  • 7-3   BOND finally wins the frame by potting the final red. He still has a lot of work to do - but he is fighting back.
  • 7-2   The break ends at 67 as Bond misses a pot with the rest on the last red - he is not happy with himself but at least the final red is safe. 33-67 is the current score
  • 7-2   BOND with a superb long pot and he is now building what could be a frame-winning break.
  • 7-2   ROBERTSON misses an early chance to win the frame. A break of 33 was halted when a poor shot saw him lose position on the black. He has to play safe.
  • 7-2   And Bond has got us underway!
  •   Good morning folks and welcome to the second session of this first round tie. Neil ROBERTSON needs just three frames to clinch his spot in the second round.
  • 7-2   Bond gets one snooker back but then ROBERTSON makes a great pot to get the final red and Bond concedes. A rather dull session but Roberstson won't mind - he is in control and we will resume tomorrow morning.
  • 6-2   ROBERTSON has now gone 64-19 in front with just one red left. Bond is going to try for snookers.
  • 6-2   ROBERTSON is unlucky not to land on an easy red after opening up the pack early in the frame, but then he gets lucky when Bond misses when presented with a chance of his own. Robertson trying to build again now.
  • 6-2   Poor safety from Bond on the yellow and ROBERTSON finally looks like he will take the frame. It really has been an awful frame too - both players have done their best to lose it. On the blue now and Bond needs two snookers...but he won't get them...ROBERTSON pots the blue to take it.
  • 5-2   BOND has closed the gap to 54-28 and now plays safe on the yellow - all the colours will see him take the frame.
  • 5-2   ROBERTSON on frame ball misses a green as he overpowered the pot in a bid to find position. Silly mistabke really and he is lucky the cue ball goes safe. Still he leads 54-13.
  • 5-2   Well John Higgins and Matthew Stevens are long in the dressing room after their session but this one has been a slow grind - we are again involved in a scrappy frame. 16-13 Robertson.
  • 5-2   Not much - he misses what looked an easy enough blue while on 15 and maybe Bond can get in here?
  • 5-2   Another cagey start to this frame too but ROBERTSON has now got a little nibble - what can he do?
  • 5-2   BOND finally finds his mojo and secures a highly impressive clearance of 125. That gives him the tournament high break for now.
  • 5-1   ROBERTSON opens up the blue to set himself up for another big break and he gets it up to over 80 before it ends. Still very impressive as the black was out of action.
  • 4-1   Bond is again punished for not racking up the points when he had the chance, a clearance of 73 from ROBERTSON sees him regain his three frame lead.
  • 3-1   BOND left in a cluster of reds after an attempt to split them fails. His break ends on 48.
  • 3-1   ROBERTSON in for an early chance but then misses a shot and now BOND has a chance to build.
  • 3-1   Back under way after the mid-session interval. One red comes away from the pack on the break but it is not an easy pot and this frame could take a while to get going.
  • 3-1   BOND finally takes the frame after Robertson misses a tough red. And he is finally on the board after the last frame before the mid-session interval.
  • 3-0   BOND 62-16 in front now after another break of 22 but he should have had this frame by name.
  • 3-0   BOND with a break of 39 - but then gets himself in a tough spot and misses a cut to the middle despite the reds being in great position. 16-40 now but Robertson is back in the frame.
  •   Well the players have called for a re-rack - that frame was going nowhere so they decide to play it again from scratch.
  • 3-0   ROBERTSON stuck in the bottom corner behind a blue - he tries all sorts of stuff to get out of things and keep the cue ball safe. After three misses he hits the red with a great banana shot but the cue ball then drops. Still nothing easy on for Bond and we are back into a safety battle with Bond 17-1 up.
  • 3-0   There is not anything wrong with your scoring - it is still 0-0 in this frame after a long spell of safetys BUT wait... ROBERTSON has just got a red. Not on a colour though.
  • 3-0   ROBERTSON takes the frame - cruel luck on Bond - he gets to the blue but then misses a tough cut and leaves the blue on. Robertson can't sink the pink and Bond tries to hang around and pick up the snookers he Robertson finally takes the pink to go 3-0 up.
  • 2-0   Onto the yellow and ROBERTSON has a 26 point lead with 27 on the table. The Aussie is getting the rub of the green so far though - the balls are landing in his favour.
  • 2-0   ROBERTSON concedes eight but then gets out of jail and is lucky not to leave an easy pot on. Current score is 59-41 in his favour with two reds still on the table.
  • 2-0   ROBERTSON with a break of 58 but then tries a very risky pott on the pink (which he misses). He leads 58-26 but Bond has now snookered him behind the pink that Robertson missed at the bottom left pocket and that will be a tough one for Robertson to get out off.
  • 2-0   Bond with an early break of 26 in cagey third frame but now ROBERTSON is in again and he could win it from here.
  • 2-0   ROBERTSON potts a red straight away and takes the frame with a mini-break of 25. Great start from the Aussie - he took that frame after a poor break from Bond.
  • 1-0   ROBERTSON's break ends on 70 and there are only 67 points left on the table. Bond has it all to do.
  • 1-0   Looking good for ROBERTSON in this second frame again - he is building a break and has just opened up the reds.
  • 1-0   ROBERTSON controls the frame after the unlucky foul for Bond. He quickly manages to start a break and an effort of 59 is enough for him to take the opener.
  • 0-0   BOND is very unlucky early in the frame - at the start of a break he potts the blue and smashes into the reds but a red drops into one of the bottom pockets for a foul.
  • 0-0   Great reception for the players as they come out...and Robertson has got us underway.
