- 6-3 O'Sullivan rockets into the reds a breaks them up specacularly. Murphy can't do much with his time at the table and O'Sullivan clears up to meet Mark Selby in the final!
- 5-3 And O'Sullivan has moved to within one frame of the match - a break of 63 puts him in front after Murphy had taken a small lead. That left Murphy needing a snooker - he tried to hang around for a while but Ronnie takes the frame and he is on the brink of victory now.
- 4-3 A very well worked break of 75 by O'Sullivan puts him back in front. He needed to use the lower colours to continue the break but he did it in style. When the frame was won he even pulled off a triple!
- 3-3 And once again we are level - another up and down frame. Murphy was leading 34-0 but then O'Sullivan looked to be in before missing ANOTHER pink. Murphy was back in before snookering himself on a pink but he managed to survive and take the frame a with a frame of 40+ soon after.
- 3-2 O'Sullivan takes the lead for the first time in the match and he does it with back-to-back centuries - a superb knock of 101 and Murphy needs to react now.
- - We are back underway with Ronnie building a break.
- 2-2 We are level at the interval - a superb century of 113 to the black from Ronnie before he chips the black off the table. Some superb shots in the closing stages of that break to make sure it was a century - a great positional shot to go from yellow to green was followed by a fine pot with the rest on the brown. This one is hotting up.
- 1-2 An exchange of safetys early in the frame but Murphy finally gets in and wins the frame with a break of 76.
- 1-1 We are level - Ronnie picks up 20 odd earlier in the frame but builds his match winning frame when Murphy is too thin on a red. Murphy's attempted safety then breaks into the reds and O'Sullivan was all set up for a big break. He looked on course for a century but had to settle for a 76 as he missed another potable pink.
- 0-1 Super first frame goes to Murphy. After the break off Ronnie pots a great long red and immediately gets to work. He looked to be on his way to building a frame winning break but missed an easy pink while on 51. He then sat down and didn't get the chance to get back on the table as Murphy cleared to the pink for a break of 70.
