  • 4-6   And Selby has sealed the victory!! A break of 70 in the final frame sees him take the match. A real high quality match but the Masters champion is into the final. There he will meet Ronnie O'Sullivan or Shaun Murphy - join us for that at 19.00 British time.
  • 4-5   For the fifth time in the match Selby moves a frame ahead. First signs of nerves from both players in that frame but Selby produced a mini-break in the middle of the frame and it proved to be enough.
  • 4-4   Stunning red from Hendry sets him up for a frame winning break. He was in a tricky spot but produces a superb pot and then he goes on to produce a break of 124 - lots of good stuff in that break and we are now level once again.
  • 3-4   Another really tight frame that either player could have won - it is Selby who gets it though as he goes from last red to black to steal it.
  • 3-3   Hendry gets in early after Selby leaves a red on from the break and with devasting effect produces a clearance of 130. The first century of the match and Hendry's first century of the tournament.
  • 2-3   A break of 71 from Selby sees him take the first frame after the restart but it was an easy missed red from Hendry that allowed him to take that frame.
  • 2-2   And we are back underway - first to six wins remember.
  •   Eurosport expert Mike Hallett has just given me his opinions on tonight's big semi-final between Shaun Murphy and Ronnie O'Sullivan. To read his thoughts on the game just click on the Hendry v Selby LIVE story on the homepage.
  • 2-2   Another long frame that went back and forth - Hendry went 45-0 up before Selby raced back to make it 45-44 going onto the brown. Selby though then got a bad kick off the black while trying to play safe on the brown and Hendry was able to polish off the frame - 2-2 at the interval.
  • 1-2   It looked like Hendry was going to steal another frame. He was 46-0 down but came back to take the lead before missing the yellow with the rest. Selby potted to the pink which left Hendry still in it, but then a poor safety from the Scotsman allowed the jester from Leicester to pot home the pink and take the frame.
  • 1-1   Superb from Hendry to take the frame - he produces a sensational break of 67 up to the black to come down from 56-0 down to level the match. There were a few tricky balls in that break but his positional play was superb.
  • 0-1   Selby has just lost position after a break of 56 in the second frame but he then plays safe and seems to be in control of this second frame.
  • 0-1   Some excellent safety and recovery play from both players on the yellow, but Hendry finally leaves it free. Selby though can only get to the blue before losing position with the blue in a tough spot against the right cushion. Hendry finally nails the blue to leave it 41-48 but then can't get a tough pink into the corner. That leaves Selby with a clear chance to take the frame which he does. A long opener but Selby strikes the first blow.
  • 0-0   And we are underway here in Newport and the first frame has been a cagey one - we are down to the colours and there is just three points between the players. Selby leads 35-32.
  •   Welcome snooker fans to the first semi-final from Newport and it is a case of one of the greats against one of the game's young guns. Stephen Hendry v Mark Selby. Action begins at 13.00 British time.
