9-5   VICTORY FOR MAGUIRE! A fitting one to complete the victory as he rattles in a 41 break and then a run of 56. The Glaswegian takes the £30,000 first prize.
8-5   Maguire on the brink! Fergal opens the frame with a 39 break but misses a long red into the green pocket. The Scot goes on to make a 45 run to take it 71-39.
7-5   O'Brien pulls one back, taking a 31-0 lead before being pegged back to 47-30 entering the final red. However he takes the vital colours to stay alive.
7-4   The Scot looking strong at the mid-session interval, a 36 break wraps up an 84-0 frame success and the first three frame lead of the final.
6-4   Maguire won his only two ranking tournaments in 2004, the European Open and UK Championship. He is three frames away from a third, taking frame ten by 63-16.
5-4   O'Brien keeps in contention, opening frame nine with a 46 break. And although Maguire responds with 45, he misses the final red and the Irishman seals the frame on the blue.
5-3   And a great start from Maguire, a 73 break and a 5-3 lead.
19:30   The final has resumed before a packed crowd in Belfast.
4-3   O'Brien opens up with a 41 run but Maguire hits back with a 56 break only to miss the last red which he leaves in the jaws of the yellow pocket. The world number 37 clears the colours and reduces his deficit to 4-3 at the interval. We will be back at 7.30pm for the conclusion.
4-2   The first two frame advantage of the final with the Scot taking frame six 72-42. Maguire leads 30-0 only for O'Brien to respond with a 58 break. It's 62-45 to the Irishman entering the colours but his opponent sinks the colours.
3-2   It's a high-class final and world number ten Maguire regains the lead via a 135 break.
2-2   All square at the interval. Maguire opens with a 43 break but misses a relatively simple black. O'Brien responds with 46 but he tries to cut the last red into the corner and misses. That allows the Glaswegian to take the frame 69-43, a delicate pink settling the stanza.
1-2   The Dubliner takes the lead, breaks of 49 and 34 en-route to an 87-0 frame success.
1-1   O'Brien has not won a ranking tournament since the British Open in 1999 (when he beat Anthony Hamilton 9-7 in the final) and he makes an immediate response with a 84 break.
1-0   Maguire is chasing his third ranking tournament victory and a 60 break helps him take the opening frame 109-8.
